Based in Grand Rapids, they employ 500 people in research and development, manufacturing and testing. In addition to selling genetic testing kits used for prenatal screening for several genetic diseases, they are also a leader in bioremediation research. Dioxin-eating bacteria developed by Neuvagene is being used to clean the Titabawasee river contamination below Dow's main plant in Midland.

Alliance for Michigan's Future

They are known for hosting small business seminars and funding community arts programs. The membership is largely new business that has been attracted to Michigan by the Governor's and the Michigan Economic Development Commission's incentives.
Trillium Property Development

Gordon Trillium has been attempting to acquire Stony Island for fifteen years. It's position off Belle Isle makes it ideal for exclusive development for a select few homes. Unfortunately it's owned by four families who have no intention of selling. Gordon Trillium isn't the kind of guy to let an opportunity like this go. When he met Dick Hamilton, who had found the obscure Lune Fish in Lake Erie, he was more than happy to fund a breeding program.

The players in the Black Cat Campaign are employees or allies of the Black Cat Detective Agency, a firm with a reputation for dealing with the paranormal. The game system will be GURPS, which is well positioned for an Urban Fantasy campaign.
